i follow too many people, and i really want to continue because most of them post cool stuff occasionally, but at this point catching up with everything takes more time than I can afford... esp across different platforms... im slowly starting to realize that maybe algorithmic timelines are not that bad as long as they aren't tuned to maximize retention and ad revenue... i either need to funnel everything to one place and probably patch in some extensive heuristic to hide posts, or get off social platforms entirely... neither of which is ideal tbh, ive had enough of isolating myself...
